Labor Day Campout at The Land of Odd Nature Retreat: Beaverville IL

First annual Labor Day survival camp at The Land of Odd in Iroquois County IL in the heart of pristine sand prairie unlike any other habitat in the Chicagoland. It has recently become a National Wildlife Refuge.

An out of the frying pan and into the fire experience. Everything we eat for the entire weekend will have either been foraged, farmed, caught, or hunted in the area.

In addition to foraging and campfire camaraderie other activities will include fishing, haunted/historical site exploration, finding and identifying local fauna (reptiles, insects, and more), viewing the local bison herd, exploring ruins, maybe a trip to a nearby waterfall, and more. A weekend of experiences to last a lifetime.

You can come down for just the day or hang out the whole weekend and camp out in our exclusive private campsites.

$100 per person, $175 per couple.
