Join Chicagoland's only full time professional forager Dave Odd for a walk along the Kankakee River Trail in Kankakee River State Park in Bourbonnais IL, to see all the wild and wonderful edible plants and mushrooms that thrive there. Guaranteed to learn about at least 50 edible plants/mushrooms! We'll meet some cool critters along the way too. Chanterelles, chicken of the woods, and more should be popping. We'll be hiking for several hours so pack a lunch or snacks and plenty of water.
