Join Chicagoland's only full time professional forager Dave Odd for a walk around Chain O' Lakes State Park in Spring Grove IL to identify and learn about all the edible wild plants and mushrooms that thrive there. Guaranteed to learn about at least 50 edible plants/mushrooms! We'll meet some cool critters along the way too. Chanterelles, hen of the woods, puffballs, chicken of the woods, and more should be popping. We'll be hiking for a few hours so being snacks and plenty of water and snacks or lunch.
